Uttar Pradesh Police Constable Exam Pattern ( selection Process):-

>>Document Verification & Physical (PST/PET) Examination
Uttar Pradesh Police Constable Exam Pattern:-
>> Exam Mode:- Offline Mode, Objective type Question Paper (MCQ)
>> No. Of Question:- 150 ,Each Question 2 Marks
>> Exam Subject:- General Knowledge 38 Question, General Hindi 37 Question, Numerical & Mental Ability 38 Question, Mental Aptitude, I.Q and Reasoning Ability 37 Question.
The negative marking will be 0.5 Marks.
The Exam Time:- 02 Hours.
Level Of exam paper will be as per the minimum educational standard.
A physical will be Qualifying Nature. There will be No Marks for Physical Exam.
Exam Syllabus:-
>>General Knowledge:- Indian Constitution, Indian History, Indian Economy, Indian Geography, Indian Politics, Religions  Banking Sector Books & Authors, Environment & urban development, population, Indian Agriculture, Environmental Studies, Basic of I.T, cultural & social custom of UP, General science, Indian Economic & culture, judicial decisions, Awards Appointments, Important personalities , National & International Affairs.
>> General Hindi:– Hindi Grammar, Hindi Language, Hindi word, Gender, Pronoun, Tense, etc.
>>Numerical & Mental Ability:- Number System, Decimals & Fractions, Highest common factor & Lowest common multiple, Ratio & Proportion, Percentage, Profit & Loss, Discount, Simple Interest, compound interest, percentage, Average, Time and Work, Time and Distance, use of table & Graphs, Mensuration, Arithmetical computations and other analytical functions.
>> Mental Ability:– Logical Diagrams, symbol relationship Interpretation, perception test, word Formation test, letter, and number Series, word and alphabet analogy, common sense test, Direction sense Test, Logical Interpretation Data, Forcefulness of argument, determined Applying Meanings.
>>Mental Aptitude:– public Interest, law And order, communal harmony, crime Control, Rule of law, Ability of Adaptability, Professional information, Police system, contemporary police issue and law And order, interest in the profession, mental thoroughness, sensitivity towards minorities and underprivileged, Gender sensitivity.
>> Reasoning Ability:– Analogies, Similarities, Differences, space visualization, problem-solving, Analysis judgment, decision making, Visual memory, Discrimination, observation, relationship, concepts, Arithmetical number series, Abilities to deal with abstract ideas and symbols and their Relationship.
>> I.Q:– Relationship & analogy test, spotting out the dissimilar, series completion test, coding &decoding, direction sense test, Blood Relation, Problems based on Alphabet, time sequence, Venn diagram, and chart type, mathematical Ability test.
Physical Efficiency Test (PET) & Physical Standard Test (PST):–
Race Marks Calculation:-
Male Candidates will have to Qualify the 4.8 Kms race in the 25 Minutes.
Female Candidates will have to Qualify the 2.4 Kms race in the 14 Minutes.
Height:– Male – General/ OBC/ SC – 168 cm , ST -160 cm
Female – General/ OBC/ SC – 152 cm , ST – 147 cm
Chest:- Male – General/ OBC/ SC -( 79-84 cm (Minimum 5 cm expansion is required) , ST – 77-82 cm (Minimum 5 cm expansion is required)
Female – General/ OBC/ SC / ST – Not Applicable.
Weight:- Male ( General/ OBC/ SC / ST)  – Not Applicable   Female  ( General/ OBC/ SC / ST )- Minimum 40 kgs.
