Eligibility Criteria for Central Railway Apprentice Jobs 2020 – Career in Railway After 10th Pass
Minimum Academic Qualification:
The candidate must have passed 10th class examination or its equivalent (under 10+2 examination system) with minimum 50% marks, in aggregate, from recognized Board and also possess National Trade Certificate in the notified trade issued by the National Council for Vocational Training or Provisional Certificate issued by National Council for Vocational Training / State Council for Vocational Training.
Age Criteria & Relaxation:
The candidate must be 18 years as of 01.01.2020. The upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years in case of SC/ST candidates, 3 years for OBC candidates.
Apprentice Stipend & Training Period:
>> 70% of the minimum wage of semi-skilled workers notified by the respective State or Union Territory for 1st year of Training.
>> 80% of the minimum wage of semi-skilled workers notified by the respective State or Union Territory for 2nd year of Training.
>> 90% of the minimum wage of semi-skilled workers notified by the respective State or Union Territory for the 3rd year of Training.

Application Fee:
Candidates are required to pay a non-refundable fee of Rs.100/- for UR & OBC candidates through debit card/credit card / Internet Banking / SBI Challan etc. SC/ST/PWD/Women candidates are exempted from the payment of the fee.
Selection Procedure:
Shortlisted candidates will be selected on the basis of merit list of percentage of marks in 10th Class (with minimum 50% aggregate marks) + ITI marks in the relevant trade.
