Eligibility Criteria for Press Council of India Recruitment 2021

Educational Qualification –
Assistant Section Officer – Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university or institution.
Junior Translation Officer – Master’s degree from a recognized University in Hindi with English as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level.

Age Limit:
Assistant Section Officer – 20-30 Years.
Junior Translation Officer – 30 Years.

Salary Scale:
Assistant Section Officer – Level 6 as per 7th CPC (pre-revised PB-2 Rs.  9,300 – 34,800/- + Grade pay Rs.4200/-)
Junior Translation Officer – Level 6 as per 7th CPC (pre-revised PB-2 Rs.  9,300 – 34,800/- + Grade pay Rs.4200/-)

Selection Process:
Assistant Section Officer – Tier-I (Objective Type) and Tier- II (Descriptive Type).
Junior Translation Officer – Written Test.
