Who are the eligible to research in DRDO according to an educational qualification?

Educational Qualification: It is totally defense organization. So all researches are related to defense-oriented and only Engineering or Technology background students get the opportunity. At least first-class Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology in Electronics & Communication Engg / Mechanical Engg / Computer Science & Engg/ Chemical Engg/ Electrical Engg from a recognized University in respective/relevant discipline.

What is to be your citizenship for working in DRDO?

>To work in DRDO you must be a citizen of India.Others any citizenship is not allowed except Indian citizenship in this organization.

What should be your Age limit?

Age limit: Candidates get the benefit of the maximum age limit is 28 years.

What is the Selection procedure of candidates to work with DRDO?

>DRDO every year conducts a Scientist Entry Test(SET) all India basis in the month of September. All the recruitment is taken for the post of Scientist ‘B’.

Selection Procedure: Here exam system is different. DRDO SET exam consists of two stages. Written Test and Interview. Written test marks are not carry forward. It is just used for screening candidates for Interview. Final selection is based on the Interview only.

What is the Exam pattern you have to give to be a Researcher in DRDO?

Exam pattern: There are two stages of written exam.Subject Knowledge (BE/ BTech (for Engg discipline) or MSc ( for Science Discipline)), Aptitude for Applied Research & Development.

DRDO SET test has a total of 150 Objective-type questions for 500 total marks. Section A consists of 100 questions of 4 marks each total 400 Marks from the subject as per the syllabus of B.E/ B.Tech/ M.Sc and Section B consists of 50 questions of 2 marks each total 100 marks covering the topics related to Logical Reasoning, Spatial Reasoning, Concept Formation, Abstract Reasoning, and Numerical Reasoning.

What should be your Salary and other facilities?

Salary benefit: After clearing all round there will be 6 months training in Pune. After that, you will be posted to any of your specific domain. Starting pay will be –> Rs. 43000 + Free accommodation + For education for your children.
