Eligibility Criteria for Bangabasi Evening College Admission 2022
Educational Qualification: This year the admission process to the 1st year of U.G. Courses of Studies shall start after the publication of the result of the H.S. (10+2) Examination, conducted by the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education. The merit list of all applicants for admission to the Honours Degree Courses of studies shall be published. Any student from the Science stream would be allowed to the Arts Hons of History and Political Sc if he/she gets 50% marks in the best of 4 excluding environmental science. Selection would be on the basis of the best of 4 plus English marks. The same is applicable for Science students to take admitted in Economics if passed in mathematics. Vocational students are only eligible for the General course. Science students may apply for the commerce stream provided he has passed in Mathematics if other conditions satisfy. Full marks of English as a subject must be 100 marks for all candidates. For admission in the general stream, the candidate should get pass marks in aggregates and all the subjects. For admission in B.Com gen, the candidate should get pass marks in commerce or relevant subjects like B.Com Hons.
However, candidates belonging to the Scheduled Castes or Scheduled Tribe Community taking up Honours Course of study must have obtained a minimum of 40% marks in the aggregate or 40% marks in the subject or related subjects at the previous qualifying examinations, as the case may be.
